This week I am featuring ceramic pieces at the Chattanooga Workspace Pop-Up Shop.
Mostly functional work, such as dinner place settings, bowls, trays and urns. Come by and see me, and as always, SUPPORT LOCAL ARTISTS! Last night's class turned into a mother/daughter class! It was great to see the little ones excited about making art! Although, not everybody enjoyed having pictures made, LOL
Mary Lynch and I had an absolute ball Friday during our art sale. We had new friends and not so new friends come out and join us! What a night! Thank you all for a wonderful evening. Zero had fun too!
Mary Lynch and I are having a two person show in my studio!
When: November 13, 2015 Time: 6:00 - 9:00 Where: 817 Brynwood Dr. Chattanooga, TN 37415 What: We will be showing pottery, decorative and functional along with jewelry pieces by Mary. Come join us for art, food and drinks!! Being on the computer for long periods of time takes my happiness away! Then again, I get sucked into the web net of "you can return but it's gonna be a long time from now"!! Anyway, I spent the day updating my Facebook business page and this website. Both have new pics of new work. When you click on the store you may see an image missing. That's because it is sold. I couldn't see how to delete it or mark it sold. Patience may be required. I hope you enjoy the new work!

"They" make it look so easy! It isn't. Kiln repair is HARD! I have been repairing my kilns this past couple of days. Yes, I'm still alive, but the kilns aren't up yet. Luckily, I won't need them for another few days. Electricity scares me, but parts are ordered, and I'm gonna get this! Pushing on... I think I can, I think I can...
Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and Wednesday for new classes! New pottery classes will begin Tuesday, September 1. Each month I offer morning and evening classes each week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Class times are 10:00 - 12:00 and 6:30 - 8:30. The classes include hand-building and throwing techniques, as well as glazing. The schedule is set up so that students are able to come to a minimum of 4 classes each month with the option to make up classes and practice throughout the month during these times.
