"They" make it look so easy! It isn't. Kiln repair is HARD! I have been repairing my kilns this past couple of days. Yes, I'm still alive, but the kilns aren't up yet. Luckily, I won't need them for another few days. Electricity scares me, but parts are ordered, and I'm gonna get this! Pushing on... I think I can, I think I can...
Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and Wednesday for new classes!

New pottery classes will begin Tuesday, September 1. Each month I offer morning and evening classes each week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Class times are 10:00 - 12:00 and 6:30 - 8:30. The classes include hand-building and throwing techniques, as well as glazing. The schedule is set up so that students are able to come to a minimum of 4 classes each month with the option to make up classes and practice throughout the month during these times.
Classes - $140.00 Materials included I have had our friend and photographer, Bill McCord, come and take videos during class. We have had so much fun with this! We go about our night, our very serious night, of learning about the properties of clay and elements and principles of design, while he takes candid videos of us working. What a blast!
Tomorrow is the beginning of a new pottery session. Classes are Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00 - 12:00 and 6:30 - 8:30 both days. Classes are $140 per month all materials included. The session is set up to allow for a minimum of 4 classes and opportunities to take extra classes and practice.
I'm looking forward to seeing my regular students along with some new faces. See you then!! |
